I half close my eyes, letting my lashes court the sunlight. My fingers trace the dancing rays, twisting invisible tendrils of the memory of you through my hands.
The mist of your breath left a smudge of romance on the window pane, and so I swipe it away with a palm empty of love.
Empty of you.
I fully close my eyes, shutting the last of you out. Wiping away the stain.
I am willingly swallowed by the jet black inky darkness.
