I just wanted to hold you,
Why did you turn away?
I know you loved my voice,
Couldn’t control you this way.
I don’t wish to haunt you,
But I can’t let you slip.
Here in the ocean shallows,
I’m losing my grip.
Baby, don’t let go,
I can rinse away the pain.
My heart will suffer so,
I must wash you down the drain.
