New Beginnings
She stares out the window as the water hits the glass
This is it, the present becomes the past
Her heart is open for new chances
Her soul looks back in glances
The struggles her family faced
The memories she tried to erase
She was losing herself as a whole
Then God took control
While her mind wonders if this is right
Peace took control the first moment of the flight
To her new beginning she proceeds
She is finally taking a stand for her needs
Their glares do not exist
Their comments are simply missed
This alteration raised the stakes
Memory relinquishes all of the sorrow it takes
Finally the moment is now
All of the demons can take a bow
