My Eyes
they see
past all the blank
the pains of this reality
fade ever more away
The endless tasks
they give to me
Seem in some ways nothing be
compared to all the things I see
beyond this tired world.
I feel the earth turn speedily
The clouds move fast away from me
and time into eternity,
approaching end of day.
And haste! unto our destiny
the truth of our morality
to end this great atrocity
and see the end unfurled.
