You’ll never know
That when I lost you
I screamed a death scream.
When I realized you were gone
it was as if I had lost an arm and a leg.
I can still feel the scars– twisting, writhing, empty.
They weigh heavy, heavy on my heart.
O God, what have I done,
What have I done.
