Golden Road

So where do we go from here?
A place of life or of fear
And will you come with me?
Or will you stay here and see?
 
I know you want me to see the way you see
I’m sorry but this not the way for me
 
This narrow path is the way that I must go
I’ll keep my eyes toward the distant golden road
 
I walked the path opened wide
With Hell burning on both sides
Won’t get you very far
Escape with me from the dark
 
I swear I care about you
But I know this way is true
