Discretion passed away after its close friend Morality turned its back on what they had. Torn over the death of its dear friend, Morality seeks out the advice of Penance, who later introduces Morality to the twins Pleasure and Content, saying that the twins will help Morality recover from the loss of its friend. Penance leaves the three new friends alone, saying that its work is done here. The three new friends became very close after years of hanging out together. But one night while Morality was drunken and oblivious, the sober twins brutally murder Morality. They bring the dead body to a dark alley and hand it off to the person that paid them to carry out this filthy and deceitful job: Death.
I know this isn't a poem, but I felt an urge to post this on Poeticous. This little "story" is a twofold statement; a warning to this generation as well as my knowledge of the truth behind the death of true morals and values.
