Perception failing with every step I’ve taken
The lines are blurring
True sight forsaken
Connection fading from the plug of the mind
The flock unpleasing
All reason denied
I’ve attained treasures too great to release...
In time, the pleasures and blindness will cease
Like a rich young ruler
Too blind to follow the plan
This is the view of life
Through the eyes of a blind man
Can we not just carry on with the world’s routine?
A simple way of life
No need to be cleaned
Of course I’ve sinned, but so has the rest of the herd
Why have you pinned me down like it’s you I’ve hurt?
What would it take to regain the sight?
A chance to revise or grime smeared eyes?
