Dry

Dry it on

Don’t forget to dry it on.
My whole being keeps dripping off.
Have you known me like i want you to.
Can you ever figure out what I’d like to do.
Would you love me had i never gone,
and would you need me, if you weren’t alone.
Don’t forget to glue me back, I have moved but have not grown
remember all that i lack, only difference is my heart is sewn.
And you are lovely blonde and shine. Your are like a day scented with pine.
Out in the forest on the hills laying in the big red bed of dried quills.
I can bake in the sun all day, i can dry on there, what do you say.
Would you believe the tears I shed, would you feel safe laying in my bed.
Can you say you need me, never could go on.
If you were to leave out here on the lawn.
Laying in the pines trying to dry myself on.
Can you say you want me and wwould never go.
I can wait a little while, good thing the sun sets slow.
