Sour ties.

It’s so long and drawn out,
Sour in your mouth
And you never really liked the flavor
But you never spit it out.

How could you, when you wished to want
And you tried so hard, for all those months
To waste it now would be a sin
But i guess you weren’t thinking
Of how hard it had been.

I never meant to judge you
Just to offer my advice
I just wanted to nudge you
Make you realize your vice.

But it doesn’t work that way, and you will never see.
All the pain you put me through, all that you did to me.
