Come away with me

By: African Child

Come away with me, let’s sail across despondancy
To a place called peace
We’ve hung on for too long to despair, it only gives
Birth to relentlessness.

Just beyond the blue horizon, we’ll find our Patient
Tomorrow awaiting....with robe n crown in hand.
Come away with me, we'll rest our weary feet
on a sea of glass
And there hunger will not come to pass.

Listen carefully now, can u hear the music?
Sweet melodie escaping from those golden harps.
Come go with me to that blissful land where we’ll
never grow old.
I’ll count my steps as I trod this path,
lest I falter and miss my golden crown.

Come away with me now,
you’ll miss home no more for Enoch’s there too.
Come away with me friend, i
f not for me then do it for Jesus.

This is a place I long to be in.
Where no sickness nor sorrow abounds.
