In waves of oceans,
Streaming high lengths of love
I fail to retain all that I knew about you,
I did not know you, and how did you get here
But I loved you, endlessly
As if I’ve known you throughout this life
I heard lies and I shattered the one thing that was mine,
I had become violence to you, to the seams of me
I tore apart the weaker part of me, just for you not to see
Within those waves of hope
I desired that you would stay here and turn away knowing all would be okay,
I never knew my absence to all that held me weak.
You were upon me.
In waves of oceans,
