The Reality of Reality
I sit on my back porch
overlooking the lake
and see a robin
peck peck pecking
at the ground
in search of a worm
to bring home
I wonder what he’s thinking
as he flap flap flaps
his wings
Maybe he’s proud
I think often about
others thoughts
lives
journeys
How many millions of worlds
there are, all on our own Earth
Everyone thinking only their own
is reality
but reality really is
we are all in this together
the sooner we realize this
the sooner our worlds will
be alined
The sooner we will be at
peace
