I Think you all know I am a bit of a poet
To anyone who has read my poetry in the past and wondered why is he writing like this
I think you all know I am a bit of a poet,
some people out there have read my poems and they know it.
I write most of my poems from the heart,
it always seems to be a good place start.
but sometimes in my life things get said,
I keep it all locked in the back of my head
Then write them down and put them into a poem instead.
Most of my poems are about things in life,
the pains the struggles the man the wife,
the sons the daughters the families too,
each of these poems for me and you.
I write about relationships that I treasure and have loved,
the whole lot have ended which is not very good,
but never to be forgotten and written with love.
I have written about dead people, one of them is my son,
who died at nineteen he was ever so young.
they are people who we all love, I write about them
because I know they are looking down from above.
its always best to remember them every day,
they can hear every thought, every word we say.
I write about anger and how I feel its a way of expression
and I put it my poetry into exemption
So when you read all of my poetry, please don’t take them to heart
its only me trying to make a new start.
I love writing poems as you can see its part of my life
and its always followed me, through all the good times and the bad
it’s always made me angry and a little sad, but that is why I write the poetry, I must be mad.
