That time of year

Merry Christmas to all the readers of my poems

It’s getting to that time of year
 
Its getting to that time of year
The festivities are near
Because Christmas is is on its way,
Put Christmas trees up decorations today
Ready for that wonderful festive day.
 
Its getting to that time of year
Where everyone is full of good cheer
Christmas shopping has begun
The kids are excited and ready for fun
 
Its getting to that time of year you know,
That time of year where you see
The white stuff they called snow.
 
Its getting to that time of year you know
They call it Christmas time but not because of snow.
Theirs a fat man who drives reindeer and sleigh
On Christmas eve you may see him on his way.
