Everyone always says to never lose hope, to keep the faith.
But hope and faith lead you to nothing.
They leave you blind.
They lead you down a dead end road,
Where there is no where to hide,
From the monsters that creep out from behind.
They have been waiting
They have been watching
They are the darkness that can leave even the most innocent of souls,
Broken inside.
Broken Broken Broken
Surrounding you at your dead end,
They suck you dry
Drain your soul
And watch you die.
But when the morning comes
Your body must rise,
Because your heart is still beating
Mind still racing
Only, something seems different
You are no longer blind.
