A Beautiful Bind
Tonight I want to dance, the way we used to, with each step, each glide so smooth .
Tonight, I want to quench this thirst, burning so deep, the thirst that causes me to
dream of you while awake and asleep.You’re touch, sometimes too much to bare,
but there is something that pulls me, controls me, the pleasure, simple yet intoxicating,
much like an under the breath affair .
With the moonlight glistening off the lake, the soft blanket of grass under our feet,
adds enough comfort to allow us both to fall.We lose ourselves in the perfect world
we have created, the worries of tomorrow flow away, clinging to the breeze, with
a love so profound, neither of us can fail.
Spiritually we connect, shock waves travel to our fingertips, forming an electric bind.
We give no recognition to what lies behind, we ignore the limitations of time, with
two physical beings, we have succumbed to one heart, body, soul and mind.
Need I remind, our fate has combined?
