There is an Angel
As you walk the dark streets, relying on the light from scattered
lamps to guide you, don’t feel alone, there is an Angel with you.
When the misty dew covers the foot prints from your shoes,
don’t follow another’s tracks, there is an Angel to guide you.
When the morning seems so close, and you’re afraid of the
days ahead, when you feel there isn’t an existing moment
to look forward to, fight for the moment, there is an Angel
fighting with you.
When your worries fall on closed minds and you can’t find
a soul to reassure
you, when the responsibilities of
today and tomorrow have consumed you, there is a promise
in the sky, an Angel, to see you through .
