faith

In eyes we found each others
Tiny reflection,
A Shinny mirror image.
A familiar spark.

the sweet rush of first loves abandon!

We smiled our secret smiles
And clutched hands in the dark whispers
Of each night,
Clinging desperately
To the now regrettable,
The understood silence
Of faith.

A waterhole in this
Desert wasted world,
you sated me wholly.

Until One September night,
Street lamps’ red light
Around us,
You were taken from me.
Lips lifting towards mine
Brushing lightly,
We touched time.

Those eyes now blank and blurry,
Where did you go?

I plead, oh god, we pled.
Supplicated,
Hopeless,
through shaking teeth.
and heaven she did not answer
