Breakup
I pull all of our pictures off the wall,
I want to talk, but I can’t bring myself to call.
Our love such a wonderful adventure at first,
Turned into quite a mess and things just got worse.
You lied, stole, and cheated me,
I’m not convinced this is where I’m supposed to be.
I want a fairytale, I’ve worked hard to in its direction,
Now I sit alone and have time for reflection.
Refocusing on my family, goals, and dreams,
Sometimes people just aren’t as awesome as they seem.
