For all

We are all the same
Wearing life’s worries on our faces
Dimming the truth with scarred smiles
Captured by the lusts of this world
Without power nor example
We do as our ancestors did
With Shattered dreams we walk
Losing ourselves in false hope
Consumed by every failure
Broken inside
With souls stained black
Fighting to keep our ground
We hide the pain beneath our skin
Closing our hearts for eternity.

Then He showed up
Full of love, full of joy and compassion
Overpowering every lie this world sold
He gave his life.
Oh, how wonderful his love
How joyful this day
Where He took his last breath
So we may become free
Free from sin, free from death and all that ensnares us
He came so quiet and sure
Like a gentle lamb
He came for all!
