All these poems about love
They don’t mean a thing without you
Your eyes were dangerous and your baby
Face was calm as I held you
I knew I couldn’t have you,
But in a way I still do
You are forever a piece of me and I will
Be a piece of you
I carried you around for months and
Just to find
My baby, my sweet baby
Had not survived
