I’m on a journey some call a cliche
I just need to find who I am in the art in the world
If I imitate the art will I find myself?
Or maybe I’m already an ignorant imitation
I need to find my call in this life
The past just seemed so simple
So plain and stupid but I was happy then
And I’d kill to find that self just once more
Am I on the right track?
Am I going down the wrong path
With copious mistakes
And words lost in my mouth?

Don't worry about those who call the journey cliche. For the most part, they're imaginary :)
