I feel it in my bones.
The sweet scent of indulgence.
It creeps into my nostrils and up into the crevices of my brain.
You’re there watching my every move.
I feel you
picking at my soul
like wounds from yesterdays worries.
You have no idea what I worry about.
The answer is everything.
I miss you
the feel of you.               your everything.
You encompass every part of me.
That smile.                    every smile.
Every single one since you started
noticing me
it makes me shiver.
Remember those trees from the morning?
All the trees they sit patiently waiting for the next move
The next step.
Who knows?
Maybe I’ll trust my instincts this time.
