GHOSTLY TITANIC

I pity you, your majesty, I really do
From afar compelled, to rue......
Were I of great courage born
This cowardice I would not adorn
Swift un-aggregated actions burdened not by superfluous thought
To your rescue to your cries distraught
Now with memories painful I am fraught
I pity you, your majesty, I really do
From afar compelled, to rue.......
On that still, lonesome, starry night
Your majesty, your grace succumbed without a fight

Woeful souls begging for your life
To lead them out of their emotional strife
But with the blow to the bough decidedly debilitating
Motionless you lay your heart irregularly fibrillating
I pity you, your majesty, I really do
From afar compelled, to rue.............
Your final minutes, your last breath
Broken, bent, brave to the last
I saw the life in your eyes fade fast
To the depths your final abode
Your majesty, your end never foretold,
But your story in history emblazoned bold.
