The End
There’s no more I can do for you.
I can’t help you anymore.
You must find your way.
For my time here is up.
Brave are those who do not fear
But welcome death as a friend.
Death is not one to fear.
Soon, my body will be no more,
But my spirit with you
For I will not leave forever.
I will simply whisper
As I lie on my final bed,
“Until later”
For soon we will be no more.
Not here, but in another life
Together. Happy.
But now we cannot be
Because the weight of the world
Sits upon our shoulders.
The day we no longer combat the weight.
When we can love freely
In a place much better than this.
Until later, my love.
Soon, I will see you again.
For our end shall be our beginning.
