A New Beginning
I am a bird soaring through the skies of the Alaskan horizon.
Overlooking the ocean tides below.
The water surfacing onto the moist sand
Creating barriers within.
My wide wings gliding through the air
Grasping onto the oxygen existing in the atmosphere.
My heart fluttering in delight.
Delight of the sight of the rising sun.
The thought crosses my mind.
It’s a new beginning.
