The love we share

The love we share is like maths
it’s presence is felt
Her head against my chest
with every word I speak she melts
In fact she wants to go beneath the belt
I use words not easily spelt
She isn’t here, but I smell her scent
She isn’t like the rest, she not out for
cents
Love stronger, tougher than cement
but still not a hundred percent
The closer we become with every minute spent

Ofcourse, like any other couple we fight
not all relationships are white and bright
Some are as dark as the night
but still we strive to find the light
I write with passion and might
we not the best couple in the world
but yes we tight
It wasn’t love at first sight, it took time and patience to reach these heights
It’s gotten so bad, I see us as husband and wife
but im afraid I’ll be ducking knifes all
my life

We not perfect but we see, eye to eye
Trust me, it’s never my intension
to make her cry
Some things are done without a reason why
but now and than I realise im lucky to
be her only guy
Some gents are on standby, because
I keep her occupied
Together we ride or die
Together we both try
I know which to press when she’s mad
at me, I simply call her my sweety pie
Than she blushes, I love it when she acts all shy
I only wanna see her happy
I wanna see her fly and touch the sky
because of the love we share
I wanna see  her smile.
