Word.
I’m a poet with the spirit of a soldier so allow me to say I’m on a lyrical mission
I feel like God is my ammunition now I wonder, who wants to be my opposition?
I consider myself my biggest fan and my very own competition
I swear my hands have eyes which is why I write with such vision
School offered me intelligence but God supplied wisdom

I live my life aware that God is my shield and my spear
That’s the reason why I live life with no sense of fear
My life is rather different
I look using my ears, I use my eyes to hear and I use words to paint a picture that’s quite clear
Whenever my spirit is troubled, peace is what God promises to bring
I’m the David of this generation but poetry is what you’ll find in my sling
Although poetry is my thing, Christ remains my King
Through poetry God has extended my territory and land
I still can not believe the enormous power invested in my hands
Which is why God is my Architect thus he has plans
So if you’re wondering where I I belong, it's in the kingdom of heaven where my spirit stands.
