After hearing a favorite song and remembering a difficult time, a poem came out
Sometimes wonder about a star, way afar. How life might be in outer space,
Birds flying here and there, landing on branches to chirp and bare, their heart. A private club among the trees with their own private code.
In the bright moments My mind is a flame, Melting obstacles, Gaining gifts of wisdom. In the dark moments
Cold spring rain chills my body And yet, the birds fly in unison As if, it is a sunny day. The white tail deer Bounce through the ravine
The wind went through me, it carried the yellow, orange and red leaves lightly on the air. Another change is coming,
Life is but a dream, our fantasies, spill, like liquid tears that pool and vaporize into the air.
When you are not here An empty heart full of fear Arises and wonders If I will see you again. What will I do without
