Last night I dreamt that I floated above the clouds, above the earth and my heart
Walking on the edge, Between awareness and sleep. Sometimes... I’m in the moment, I feel my body,
Sitting on the lake shore, Which made my heart soar, The water rippled at times, Swirled into beautiful lines, Clouds reflected in it’s mirror,
It’s that time of year again. The sound of honking geese fills the air, as they pass in alignment, to the Deep South.
Itchy eyes scaly feet achy joints and bad teeth hair so fine
Squirrels with bushy orange tails leap about the deck. Crickets hum, confused that it’s not dark yet. The caw of a blue jay
The many places I have been And countless faces I have seen, The many tales to be told, Into the universe, they unfold. It’s all a passing show,
Not sure what to write while the world is on the brink of another war. While others face
Standing at a crossroad Between this life And the next, Heart in hand I knock on that
I remember your smile, your laugh,… you gave so freely. It’s hard that you are gone. I sigh and walk along the bay.
Many thoughts in the mind, Some productive, some not. They glow like fires, Created by needs and
Mr. R. would talk about his deceased brother, he dreamed about him frequently; also of an eagle
Oh hummingbird Where are you now? Have you taken My courage with you? Oh hummingbird
Walking down the dirt path, Sounds drift on the air, Birds chirping, leaves Rustling, dogs barking. Interconnection of life
Life is like a dream A star studded sky A blink of an eye Oh, how life slips by. Life is like a song
