Old friends walking
on the beach,
the waves bring
in, memories,
of carefree days;
playful laughter
at youthful folly.
The sunset casts
a golden light,
a road, to the center
of paradise.
May we see another
day, like this
and if not,
I throw this body
to the waves,
my bare spirit
to the wind,
an open heart
to the sun.
