Red cardinal dancing On white snow, How regal you appear With your cloak of red, How it cheers my heart
The buck in the garden Chewing up hard earned Labor, His antlers raise, His ears perk up, as
The flesh withers as we age But our inner spirit Remains the same. And when the body dies The spirit breaks free
The misty, night rain, Soaking bare trees, Bringing nourishment. I stand at the window, A steady beat echoes
Walking on the edge, Between awareness and sleep. Sometimes... I’m in the moment, I feel my body,
The many places I have been And countless faces I have seen, The many tales to be told, Into the universe, they unfold. It’s all a passing show,
Remember the night we took your mother’s car and drove over the skyway bridge? The moon was a bright light to show the way.
Red, yellow and orange leaves Fall quickly now And create a tapestry of color That fill my mind With joy.
The lines in my hand, Were read once, By a gypsy, who Predicated a long life... But with many interruptions.
Time passing by now In a blink of the eye, In the clap of a hand, In the chirp of a bird, In a flash of light
Red bird perched on a tree limb laced with snow. So happy to see him and the joy he brings.
Pretend there is no tomorrow becau… there might not be. Live like there is only this momen… that is the truth. Nothing is solid but whispery,
It’s a billion stars moving and co… While we sleep. It’s one miracle after another and… We do not take the leap. It’s the great heave of nature
Cool breeze rustles through the tr… drifting into my open door and leads me to the window to see leaves falling with abandon. Highlights of red and gold lace
Photos are all I have At times, Of smiling familiar faces, My family spread out. I would travel often
