Full Moon Magic

Orange full moon
with a half smile,
a hanging lantern,
lighting the way,
through dark streets,
the city, a jungle
with pockets of pleasure
and secret avenues of desire.

I keep my eye
on the moon
and glide,
aware of it’s
pull into space,
leaving the
earth,  far behind.

I sit on it’s crest
and wait for dawn,
my life calls me,
I wake in my bed
with a full smile
on my lips.
