Dedicated to family

Photos are all I have
At times,
Of smiling familiar faces,
My family spread out.
I would travel often
If I had the dime.

I would sleep in cars,
Trucks or tents.
Breathe in the air
Of changing scenes,
Perhaps to escape
This life, which makes no sense.

My favorite photo
Is of my son,
Perched on a rock,
High on a Mountain Top
With a happy smile
On a day well done.

Love it !!! Love to write about family, they are the closest to us. Nice poem, nice picture too.

It looks like he lives somewhere where it's snowy. My daughter lives all the way out in San Francisco. I have to save up a lot of dimes to see her. I went out there once in January of 2014. I miss her a lot.

He lives in New Mexico. It is hard when an adult child lives far away.
I hope you find the money and time to get to see her again soon!

The two of you are quite good looking. That is the first time I ever saw your picture. The poem is very refreshing.

Thanks Robert for the compliments. I guess I found a dime to
go see my son recently who resembles his dad a lot!
