On a walk one day, all the sounds seemed interconnected. Sounds of life, in harmony with each other.
Leaves falling, Another season Decorating the earth. One red leaf In my path,
Life is like a dream A star studded sky A blink of an eye Oh, how life slips by. Life is like a song
I lay still While my loved one, Sleeps. His warm hand In my hand,
Just a small part of me wants strife to go away, to return to a kinder time. Am I just losing courage? Life is draining me,
Tonight, the wind whistles as it rushes through the atmospher… Winter’s bare limbs of swaying trees, dance in the shadows.
The gift of summer Is the sound of a Creek flowing through Rocks. A blue bird perched
The white snow lay gently on the ground in a swirl pattern. The sky, a slab of smooth grey stone.
The white snow, thin Like sand, over The fields, blowing Across the road. My car rambles
In the rustle of leaves the wind plays a tune, the change of season is on the horizon. It asks permission
Geese are honking As they fly Across an orange colored Sky. My spirit soars
As I age this last quarter of my life, I am fading into the background. As I let go of roles,

Remember the night we took your mother’s car and drove over the skyway bridge? The moon was a bright light to show the way.
Life is but a dream, our fantasies, spill, like liquid tears that pool and vaporize into the air.
Lately, a sadness pervades, I mourn for youth, perhaps passion of younger days. With age, some of that passion
