Today, I wish the pain to go, the fatigue that I fight so. This process of aging is unkind and yet, the law of nature is a fast lane of change.
Standing at a crossroad Between this life And the next, Heart in hand I knock on that
The dance of fear, Of not being enough, Stops and starts. The unknown, an Uncharted sea,
Harsh reality smacks like a slap of cold wind. Sometimes I’m a tough sailor, at the helm,
Pink hues from the west Filter through Snow covered boughs Leaving, The evening light
On a walk this morning, the rocky cliffs that reach the blue-green sea, talk of strength today.
Red sun in the morning rolling up the side of earth. The sky turned pink, as a ball of fire showed it’s strength,
The white snow, thin Like sand, over The fields, blowing Across the road. My car rambles
Driving through the small towns of America, children of all colors playing in the streets, some with tattered clothes
Many thoughts in the mind, Some productive, some not. They glow like fires, Created by needs and
The hummingbirds are buzzing As well as the bees. The Orioles land gingerly On top of the feeder. Cautiously they move down
