A poem for mpumi
To mpumi
one day I saw a beautiful rainbow
Sitting next to my row
It catched my eyes and my full attention
Even though it was not my intention
I ended up doing things I can’t mention
I forgot everybody’s existence
I felt connection between us no matter the distance
I’m weak but I felt strongly in love
I can see but I was blinded by love
I don’t have wings but I started flying like a dove
Couldn’t get fed up by her long hair and beautifull smile
Daydreaming isn’t my style
But that smile
Took me to dream land for a while
Finally I really saw that I was not dreaming
And the beautifull flower I was admiring
Is named Mpumelelo, my Mee and my Everything
I’m Benny, your Bee and your everything
