A Fairytale

Once upon a time
Or however stories start
There was a beautiful little girl
With a face shaped like a heart
She lived in storybooks
The ones that lined her shelves
She believed in the magic
And took her tea with elves
As the years passed by, the girl grew tall
She opened her eyes to the real world
And hated what she saw
The magic slowly fading
The fairies came no more,
The girl grew still
Her imagination a closed door
In her sixteenth year the girl finally closed her eyes
With a rope made of flowers
She stopped the whole world’s lies
Around her grave
Lives a circle of dancing elves
A young heart in the ground
The storybooks on shelves
