Joshua's blues

She sang to me,
a hushful blues in silver octive.
my form and attentions acknowledge her presence,

A hand on  her hip, a palm upon my cheek.

                   In lyric we danced.
    Circling and weaving,
cutting and crossing,
         entangling and enticing,
all to the timing of the song and the gaze that we are sharing,
 the moon greets us gratefully,
        raying our feet,
and igniting her eyes,
     her eyes!
if perfection stood still  she ve able to  blink?
a wishful breeze attempts to tame the warm night air,
but  only for a few moments,
a few moments that we enjoy while swaying and learning of eachothers presence, the
close rhythmic circles we make,

a hand in mine, a lip upon hers.

the song that has made this union is crawling to an end.
she sings a little slower, we dance a little less,

A tear glides down  her face,
a hand gently wipes it away.

the final chorus sounds,
we untangle from our forms and she begins her exit,
i watch her leave, and in disbelief of her leaving i began singin a verse of
the song that began this brief bliss.

( if all the stars in the sky,
said they were angels that want to be mine,
I’d  lightly decline cuz i like being yours.
if the oceans blue and i am  too,
you’d kick the tide away  and change my mood,
yeah we should stay two, you’ll be my sun, and i your moon. )

.                      i begin to miss, the door shuts .

Then i woke up!!

and began pondering the empty space in my bed.
