Jezebel

(Unfinished)

Jezebel could you bring a city to its knees?
what man you have ever led astray could ever disagree?
your stare makes the weak man strong, and the strong weak
drive a tempest to a breeze and the stars to sway and seek
with your eyes like a spear, could they ever deflect
off your victim and fly straight back into you

Jezebel find could you the, sin in the sainted
make sick the very worst of the untainted
did you know your lips curl at the orchestrating of death?
you marveling at your own art of stealing breath.

I never finished this...but im used to this being the final draft now...EDIT. so I was talking with someone about this poem. This poem is in no way looking up to this biblical character. Why people think you write poems for that reason is beyond me. This is actually against her..the last line should say that. But this friend of mine did not really understand it that way...but uh ...Jezebel was torn apart by wild dogs. I just enjoy writing about certain gray characters. I also wrote this after watching Bette Davis movie set in Civil War called Jezebel. Which came before Gone With The Wind ...I've never liked Scarlett as a heroine..thought she was a manipulative spoiled brat that for some reason women looked up too..lol. Jezebel is famously know to have paralleled with Scarlett alot and I think that movie is a much more realistic version of the aversion to such a woman.....my hashtag is why said friend thought I thought she was a #strong woman haha ..no no thats just to bring view to it. Which It worked.

Note ** all my poems are copyrighted and have codes to prove ownership ... While I doubt anyone here does this ..still have to say Don't steal other people's work wether a poem is good enough or not .... It's personal and directly speaks from the soul of the writer and to take their work and say it's yours ..it's wrong and unnatural ..your stealing a peice of them ...it's nothing to do with money or rights...it's so much more than that...its happened to me .. It can happen to anyone .. It hurts and I always speak out against it even if to most it seems pretentious...
