Turning 40
Some people dread it, to others it doesn’t matter.
Some feel Life is over, some start a new chapter.
Some look back and wonder –What have I done?
I’m turning 40? Where have the years gone?
Some can’t be stopped or slowed in any way.
To them, there just aren’t enough hours in a day.
Some feed on friendships, some are all alone.
Some live on the streets, some just stay at home.
Many seek to be enlightened or even dare to dream.
Still, others feel helpless as if swimming up-stream.
But Live and Laugh and Love; let your fears be assuaged.
Our lives are not over…we’re just –Middle Aged.
