Brief Moment
In this brief moment
I am standing still,
And I can feel this omen,
It seems like such a thrill,
But I can’t help but wonder,
If I am going under.
In this brief moment
Everything is still,
It all feels frozen,
And it all seems chill,
But I can’t help but wonder,
If I am going to plunder.
In this brief moment
The universe is still,
It is now an exponent,
Of my new sleeping pill,
And I no longer have to wonder
Because I’m already 6 feet under.

The sleeping pill and the 6 feet under are both metaphors obviously. Still some of this is my actual experience and some of it isnt.
