The Beauty Of October

October comes, and the leaves turn brown,
In the fall of the year they fall to the ground.
Waking up sometimes to a cloudy sky,
Autumn leaves are falling from trees near by.

So much beauty to see at this time of the year,
beautiful trees; and the sky’s bright and clear.
Such beauty that only a creator could make,
For painters to paint, for pictures we take.

Traveling the highways such beauty unfolds,
colors, green, orange, yellow so bright, so bold.
Only God could create such a beautiful sight,
colors gleaming out in the beautiful sunlight.

Under beautiful stretched out sky I behold,
many marvelous colors both amber and gold.
The winds are changing a cool wind’s blowing.
It’s Autumn and all of it’s beauty is showing.

Oh! the wonder of how seasons change,
yet year after year they still remain the same.
I’m thankful to God many, many times over,
for the times of the year, and the month of October.
