When I saw this cross, this poem came to me,
and I had to write it.

Why does it make a statement,
in words that can’t be heard?
Why does it speak so loud,
without saying a word?
As you ask yourself this question,
one really has to say,
There is a special reason,
why the cross speaks out this way.
The answer is so simple,
it’s because his -to -ry,
tells us that the Lord and Savior
gave His life for you and me,
And so seeing this cross,
still reminds us today,
That Jesus gave His life,
to take all our  sins away.

I think this was a good time to write this, with Easter Sunday coming soon.
