Palm Sunday

The Triumphal Entry

He rode into Jerusalem,
to finally get His due.
Riding upon a donkey,
like any other a Jew.

Such a humble servant,
no boisterous words to say.
But His mighty works would
follow, on this auspicious day.

Gratitude Was on their faces,
There were Praises in the wind.
They laid branches in His pathway,
as Jesus entered in.

They gathered up the palms,
and waved them in the air.
They moved with great excitement,
because the King was there.

Hosannah, Hosannah,
rang out from the crowd
The people cried Hosannah,
their voices crying loud,

Hosannah, Hosannah,
These praises they did bring.
Hosannah, Hosannah,
Hosannah to The King.
