The World Trade Towers

They stood there strong, and then they were gone.
The World Trade Towers, in those desperate hours.
We saw the pain we heard the cries
We all just gazed, not believing our eyes.

The Country saw as they both came down.
to Earth that day, in a foggy cloud.
But still we hoped, they would appear.
through the dusty shower, at the World Trade Towers.

Then all at once, they both disappeared
As if they were never even here.
Now we all know, that we loved them so.
those who gave their lives, at the world Trade Towers.

Not knowing how, They could survive.
they still pressed on, saving many lives.
Pushing back  the fear, they made courage clear,
even when they knew, that the end was near.

No greater love has man than this,
Than to give his life to save his friends.....
They gave their lives with great strength and power.
They gave their lives at The World Trade Towers.
