What will I become?
All peace is gone.
The war rages on, even as I close my eyes, there are horrors around every corner.
I do not know why I must see the things I see or do the things I do.
I only long for inner peace.......
There is but one light in this never ending abyss. Him.
His brown eyes, so full of bright passion lead the way.
His embrace surrendering, his touch so sweet.
He brings me hope of a new dawn rising,
that I may see the next day,
and have faith that he will be here always.

This was written for my fiancee. He got me out of a dark place in my life and showed me that there is hope for me.
