Beauty

O, to know such beauty
Surely, you are a star, fallen from the heavens
For yours is a beauty, not of this earth
There are a million grains of sand upon the shore
But you are as a great wave, overwhelming them all
As grains of sand, so many faces are but likenesses of one another
But you, oh you, are as the water crashing upon them,
Rising by moonlight, that only those who dare wander during the tide may revel in your splendor
You have the heart of a thousand seas, yet yours is a heart distinguished by its magnificence
Your words are as though the gods poured their nectar upon the earth.....
Sweet melodies to my ears
Your visage is as though the cosmos took its finest pieces, that we may bask in its infinite glory
Recede not, beautiful wave
Fade not with the dawn
Return that I may admire you
Let me be consumed by your breathtaking undertow
For this is the only way to see all of your beauty
To swim in your perfection
Crash upon me, that I may be lost in your sea forevermore
