for those who passed too quickly
Taken all too swiftly
Shall forever live on as ghosts
Amongst memories and music notes
Remembering rainy days and rainbows
How fresh it feels when wind blows
The tenderness off a summers dawn
In memory there never gone
Yes they passed too quickly
In some cases we never met
Hold a place inside for them
Don’t let it fill with regret
An ode to those gone too early
A feeling so mandatory
But in our lives we carry on
In our hearts there never gone
